When you go shopping do you take a shopping list ?

When I just got married and twas the first time I took over the budget for our groceries, I made sure that I had my list with me handy. I even did a database of all the items I purchased right after. It was quite tedious but it did help me in managing the family budget. My husband said my grocery list was so nicely done, he can do it by himself in a jiffy coz it was already per category the way the cart will go once inside the big grocery store.

well before i dont...i jsut trust my memry... but since i had lot things to do now and get busy...i forgot some important things to buy...so i get pissed when i get home when i suddenly remember what i forgot... so now i make a list...so i could save time ...and effort also...

I have to make a shopping list, when I go shopping, because most of the time I'll forget something, and that gets irritating! That way I only have to make one trip, and not waste gas or money for another trip!

Oh yes, a shopping list is a must for me for groceries and I usually stick to it pretty good. Ever so often I will get a thing or two not on the list.

The only time I take a list with me is to the grocery, if I don't I usualy end up forgeting things or buying more things than what I need.

i am never that organised to take a list shopping.i used to try and take a list ,but never stuck to it in the first place.the only time i really need to take a list is when i need specific ingredients for a recipe,which i know i will forget what i needed by the time i got to the shops.cheers sue

i make a shopping list because for me its very important.. When i go to shopping i used to get what i like..but i think its not that important..so i making a list and think of very important to buy..i experienced it before..i haven't got my list and in the end i buy not that important..think about it

I do make a list before going shopping. However, the list is only in my mind so usually, i forget what i should buy and then buys only what i remember what comes to mind.
