Hi freinds Some people restrict their childrens from eating chocolates becouse they think chocolates are source for their dental problems. one of my freind will not allow her doughter to eat chocolates, her doughter never tasted chocolates till today! I feel very bad for her, This is the age to eat chocolates. I suggested my freind to give some chocolates to her doughter. But she refused to do so. I think you should not restrict too much.

hI:) my answer on your question is: not really. My daughter is one year old and know chocolate taste :) Sure I prefer give her to eat fruits and vegetables but sometimes - one - two times in week - she eat sweets. chocolate too. I like chocolate so why my baby can taste this too. BUt I am very restricted about chips. my daughter never eat this. And until it will dependent from me she doesn't taste it.

I don't restrict my kids from eating chocolates, but I do lessen their intake as much as possible. Eating too much chocolates for kids will not only cause tooth decay but it is one of the cause of hyper activity.

I don't restrict my kids from having chocolate. I limit how much they eat at one time. And I am always making sure they brush their teeth.

I don't have children, but if I did then I would certainly limit the amount of chocolate which they ate. I would not deny it completely, but would let them have it as a special treat, saturday nights for example. I don't think it is fair to completely deny children of things they will enjoy, but when it comes to food it is more important to have a balanced diet, plenty of fruit and veg etc. The occasional chocolate bar would not be a problem.

Hi ava, i dont think one should restrict their kids by eating chocolates as that is not the only cause for dental problem. If teeth are cleaned properly i dont think kids will suffer from dental problem and also they can enjoy the sweets.
