No, no running water when I brush my teeth.
I do not know if we are going to kill the planet, but I am sure that it is attempted murder. No doubt about it.
What do I actually do to prevent it?
Not much I am sad to say. I do think about it. I recycle everything I know how to. I do not overspend and overuse. But I am going on a holiday by plane soon. I have millions of reasons why i am going to do it, but attempted murder does not ask for my excuses.
I turn off the lights, and pull out the plugs. I do not drive for fun. I do not litter. I am invlved in building a powerplant in our river. I think. I think before I do something.
I am also for higher gas prices. I vote for a political party that have clear views on this. I sign petitions, and I will write my opinion.
Not much, but it is as much as I am able to right now.

I am glad that someone is so concerned about the problem but unfortunately not everybody thinks and acts like you, i think higher oil prices will not change nothing, there are alterative solutions to petrol but since the petrol company owners are so rich and powerful they will do everything to impede that

Thanks:-)
I think higher gas prices might have some of us drive less. i also think that with higher energy costs there will be more profit in it for those who are able to come up with environmental-friendly solutions. I would prefere it though if the higher gas prices were due to higher taxes - taxes that could be used for research and cleaning. Not for the oil produsers

what i mean is that the oil producers will try to stop all the developments of oil-alternative technologies
