i am watching the news right now and i saw that there is an outbreak of hepatitis C in nevada coz one of the hospital there is reusing a syringe. the hospital is close now due to so many complaints but the fact that there is no law against reusing a syringe is just crazy.
isnt that malpractice?
why do doctors and health practicer do such horrible thing?
imagine you're paying so much money for your health insurance as well as your check up and medicines and there they are reusing something that can transmit a deadly disease, it is just terrible.
you go to a hospital to feel better not to kill you or make your situation worst, i wish hospital employees knows how to value life and not just see money in their eyes.
the only reason why i think they are reusing it is to save some money but imagine the effect of it to the patient.
i am always afraid to go to a hospital and even just a health center coz i honestly dont trust them, they make me paranoid and i cant blame myself for feeling this way coz i have seen how malpractice affect so many lives now.
anyway, have you encountered such horrible experience?
have you heard one?
thanks for participating.
takecare!

what??? why are they re-using syringes??? that is plain crazy??? is that a hospital or what? and one would think that in the United States where everything is advanced and modern, why would there such a happening? did the hospital director lose his mind? or he or she is on a revenge streak.
that is just plain crazy. how can you keep a hospital sterile? how can you keep patients safe is a place like that.
that is utterly ridiculous. insane!!!

my sentiments exactly!
they dont say why they are reusing it but i have heard in the past that the reason for some hospital reusing the syringe is to save some cost STILL that is just insane coz you are only saving penny but you are causing the patient a lifetime debt and sufferings as well.
yes, it is a hospital and according to the news that hospital have passed 70 hepatitis C to its patient and to some other state had some reports total i think is 92 (not sure with my numbers but it is definitely a lot)
they showed the owner of the hospital but he is not giving any statement.
i think in our time now we all need to be VERY VERY cautious and always ask for a proof before we let them do something to us.
sure makes me scared.
anyway, thanks for the response and i wish you all the best.
takecare and have a good one!

hello,
i am happy as well knowing that this hospital is closed coz it is such a hideous practice.
it is private hospital and they have been trying to contact and question the director but no luck so far.
according to some, the syringe is reuse as it helps the hospital save some money expense. ridiculous isn't it? the health service here is way too expensive and the fact that you cant have a a good check up without an insurance makes it worst.
i hate the process here and now those victims are suffering on their own and insurance company only pays into a certain amount and they will be on their own.
thanks for the response.
takecare!
