If The American Bald Eagle .....has Little Eaglitts........
Do Mommy Beagles.....Have Baby .....Beaglitts ?
I 've been pondering this for a very long time. To all of my Fellow Beagle-Loving friends......What do you think ? Should we start Calling the little guys Beaglitts ?

Beaglitts is creative, but I think the term is just puppy LOL
As far as the Eagle goes, they are called Eaglitts, but the term is spelled Eaglet. I think that is more of a common term than the actual scientific term for them though.

That is an interesting question. Why are some bird babies defined by their species (ducklings, eagletts, etc.) while baby beagles, bulldogs, boxers etc. are just called puppies? It sure doesn't make sense to me.
