Many a times, poeople always said that the youngest in the family are spoilt children. I am the youngest....and I don't think I am a spoilt child. But I think many of the oldest in the family are more likely to be the spoilt child. Are you the youngest or eldest in the family, o middle ones - what you think?

I think the middle ones are the most spoiled.

Ok, but most middle ones feel lost in between.

I am a middle child, and I neither felt lost or spoiled. I do believe it is the baby of the family that does get spoiled. They are the last of the clan, which usually means more money after the others have left the nest. Some moms keep their youngest as the babies for the rest of their lives, which isn't such a good thing. Some never learn to grow up and do for themselves.

My younger brother was born when my mom was in her forties and had Downs Syndrome. Because of that, we all spoiled him and still do. He's a great kid and worth the extra effort to make him smile.

Wow....that's wonderful! Yeah, that's the way we should care for our loved ones. Nullifying the weaknesses with love and care. I know by doing so, you all have enriched your own life as well......making your lives more meaningful. Keep the spirit up.

There are two brothers and myself the youngest and the only sister, I don't feel that I was spolied it was the other way around, my brothers usually got away with most of everything, all three of us are total opposites one brother (the middle one) has three jobs, the eldest lives at home with mom since his divorce, and she provides for him, and me the youngest has lived on my own and worked for everything since i was 14. I have been living on my own since the age of 17. I think it is the other way arond in my case, my oldest brother has been spolied most of his life.

Salute, to you.....yeah many timesmpeople thought it the other way around and not like your case. In my case, being the youngest doesn't provide special previleges except that I develop a sense of competition against my older siblings (which is good) in terms of my effort in achieving things in life. I did well overall I guess......partly because of my own realization. But you definitelyly r doing well! Wish you all the best.
