can you sit simply for an hour without doing anything?

Imagine that you are alone.There is no entertainment or an other sort of hobby resource.can you sit simply without doing anything for an hour.and whats your reaction suppose when meet that sort of situation?

Meditate. 
Having flown long distance quite a lot, I find the ability to "switch off" to be quite usefull.
