I already was in a big doubt whether God exists or not and this disaster of losing so many school children's lives is just like confirming that there is no God - this is what came to my mind when i heard about the earthquake

It saddens me to here people talk about there being no God. I can understand how devastating hearing about so many innocent lives were lost in China, but it isn't God's fault. If there wasn't a God, we wouldn't exist. we didn't just appear here on earth, and evolution is just ridiculous.
I understand that all creatures adapt to there environments, but they don't change into a completely different species.
I personally can not look anywhere without seeing God's creations and miracles.
If you believe in the Bible, you understand that these disasters that are happening now are all written to come to pass before the endtime. And in my opinion we are in the endtime. These disasters and wars will continue to worsen until Jesus return.
I wish I knew a way to convince you of God's existence, but my words never seem to flow right. Just take time to look around at everything and its design and know that it just didn't appear on earth, there had to be a designer and a wonderful designer at that.
It is difficult to face our daily trials, but if you believe in God you have something wonderful to look forward to. If you don't believe, I fear you are in for much worse fate in life.
I'm not writing this message to hurt you in any way, I am just trying to help you understand that there is a God and I hope you find him soon.

My first thought was "I hope none of the Olympic spots were affected." That was before I heard about the children.
It is not God's fault that they used such shoddy construction that the buildings collapsed. God gave us free will to make our own decisions -- even if those decisions are bad and hurt people. It is the Chinese government's fault for not having decent building codes, then enforcing those codes.
