Anyone use Ping O Matic?

Anyone use Ping-o-Matic to submit your blogs to search engines? It used to work really well, now, everytime I use it it says "connection took to long for this server" or something to that effect. If I go back and do it again, it tells me it doesn't take it as I am "Pinging" to fast. ANyone use PingoMatic and have this problem?
Do you have any other suggestions for a place where you can put a URL and it go to multiple search engines?

Haven't any knowledge of PingoMatic, because "my" TypePad has some kind of automatic pinging and I was just thinking that when I edit my blog and go back to fix typos and that sort of thing it probably pings again each time, and maybe even my subscribers get duplicate notices of the post. Egads, that would be annoying. I have a bad habit of hitting that publish button before I've finished proofreading (because sometimes my 'puter powers down unexpectedly and I hate to lose stuff in the middle!) --
Nobody has complained yet, but I guess I need to subscribe to my own feed to check it out.
Funny that yours was working OK before and then started doing that, though. I hope people inform us of lots of alternatives to your PingoMatic because surely there are some and it would be good to know which are the best.

I can't say that I've had any problems when I've used pingomatic. Of course, I haven't had to use it recently since my blog notifies pingomatic automatically.
