I am 37 and have a 13 yr old daughter 14 yr old son.
I just want to share with you that they are my best friends and now that they are out and about with their own friends it gets kinda lonely.
I know they are not my "possessions" but I am finding hard to let them go!
God bless 'em. At least in my job (teacher of 83 students) i deal with other kids so it sort of compensates.
I guess i just have to wait till i'm a granma!

LOL I can relate...my daughter will be 13 on Wed and my son will be 15 in October and its driving me nuts watchign them grow up...Yet at the same time I love it too..Seeing them grow from being terrific kids to amazing young adults truly is a wonderful thing..I just wish they'd still let me rock them to sleep and wipe dirt off their faces LOL
