Hey teacher's!

I also experienced that before... not having any salary because it is summer vacation... i did not get any job though... because i saved some of my previous salary so that i can use it for the summer to go to different places... since summer is only like 1 month... i used it to relax... so that i will be full of energy for the school year ahead...

im a parent and my son are having a class every summer. as per the principal advise, like my sons case, he need to attend 2 subjects summer classes where hes not very attentive during the normal class and i have to pay 3000php per subject (6000php for 2 subjects) for a month atleast an hour each, so there will be payment for the teachers who works during summer considering many children are attending summer classes.

I've been a teacher assistant for 3 years now. We do get paid for the summer off, and then during the summer, some of our students are eligible for a summer program, so we get to work for another 3 weeks during the summer so it's a double pay for us. If we were not to get paid for the summer, I would get a summer job for temporary only. Just wondering where you from, here in SAIPAN we do get paid for the summer off.
