What is up with the sidekicks?

I really like the sidekicks. I like the flip out screen, the fact that you can use various messengers and e-mail on them, and the full keyboard. True, I guess they're a little awkward as a phone, but these days I do way more texting than I do talking, so I don't think it's a huge issue to have a more text-based phone than one based on talking. (I wanted a Sidekick sooooo badly when my old phone broke, but now I have a new Motorola Razr v3 (I think that's the version) and I really like it, I've gotten used to the flat buttons... but I still miss the thought of a sidekick. I guess I really can't speak for everyone, though, and my excuses/reasons aren't that great. They're just mine. :P I hope you find the answer you're looking for.
