Kids Sports Movies

When I was a kid, I wasn't very athletic, but I loved all those cute, cheesy sports movies. I'm talking about movies like the Mighty Ducks (trilogy), The Big Green, Little Giants and The Sandlot. There were others but those are the ones I remember the most. I'm not sure why I loved them so much, I just did. If I am flipping through the channels and I see one of those on, I usually will stop and watch them.
I think my favorite out of all of them was Mighty Ducks 2. Did any of you like those or any other sport themed kids movies when you were younger? Which were your faves?

I loved all those ones too! And Karate Kid, that's a good one too. Bend It Like Beckham which is a fairly new one is really good. I love the Indian actress who plays on ER (Parminder Nagar, I believe is her name). Some of the other ones like Air Bud look terrible and I can't imagine any kid really liking them.

I didn't really watch the Karate Kid, but I watched the second (or was it the third?) one with Hillary Swank. I liked that one. I haven't seen 'Bend It Like Beckham' but have heard good things about it.
I think my siblings kind of liked the first airbud, but seriously, it wasn't a movie that needed like three sequels!
I just remembered the movie "Rookie Of The Year" where a kid hurt his arm and then all of a sudden he was a great pitcher and played for a pro team.

Oh yeah, I saw most of the ones you mentioned. Just the other day I saw one of the boys who was in the Might Ducks movies on a commercial for ESPN. He doesn't look any different, just older, lol! One of my other favorites was Angels in the Outfield. I really liked that one.
