What original things do you cook while camping? We dig a hole, bury a large cast iron pot fill with chicken, water and rice (seasoning too) and slow cook all day. Or for breakfast, take a piece of bread, use a glass to cut out a circle. butter bread (both the circle and remainder) and the pan, put in the frying pan butter side up, crack an egg inside the circle, once it is cooked, flip over. These we call birds nests and they are very yummy! Take the circle and fry for toast! you get fried eggs and toast! What are your ideas?

We make pies. You just use dough put it on the bottom and top of this pan thing (can't remember what it's called) and then put in the pie filling of your choice. They are delicious. You can fill it with other things though. Like pizza sauce and cheese, etc.

We make omlettes. Use the heavy duty freezer ziplock type of bags. Put in 2 or 3 eggs, a splash of milk and whatever other stuff you like (ham, cooked bacon, veggies etc). The seal the bags and put into a pot of boiling water and cook until the eggs are no longer runny. This makes a very tasty omlette with nothing to clean up. We then use the boiled water to wash our utensils and plates. If you're cooking more than 2 or 3 omlettes, place the bags in one at a time and wait until the water is back to boiling before adding another. If you put in too many at once it'll cool the water too much and they'll take much longer to cook.
