entrepreneur or employee?

this is a question i always ask myself. being an employee, i can go my way up the ladder as long as i can get things done right. i can have opportunities of being promoted. having a higher position would entail a higher salary. and if i could stay with the company long enough, i can receive what they call separation pay and receive pension. but still, is it really worth it? spending most of your time at work and spending less with your family. being an entrepreneur, i should have enough capital and ideas for my business to survive. the best thing about it though is i could be my own boss. -managing my own time and making the most out of it.
there are still, however, a lot of things to consider for both. each of these would have their own ups and downs. but if i were to choose... i'd rather go and put up my own business.

I would go for a job, instead of having a own company. Luck factor matters much,in case I own a company, which gains profit always,so its better to be a employee,at least I have more financial stability.
