eastward from Surigao, Mindanao Philippines..it is the surfing capital of the philippines.It is situated in a cove facing the Pacific Ocean,surrounded by limestone and granite sculptures.At low tide its pockmarked limestone floors reveal pools of different shapes and size.

Hi Chubis, look like a very inviting beach you got there, I'll add that to my wish list. I've been to Cagayan de Oro last month, how far is that from there?
Better add "Phillipines" in your "Places I have lived" interest and add more friends(lots of them) for them to see this wonderful place.

Sounds like a really beautiful island. Philippines is an island country, and there are so many islands there. I look forward to the opportunity to go around to the smaller islands ! They must be enchanting !

yes ive heard about surigao. that its a surfing destination for people all over the philippines and to some foreigners as well. id love to go there one day and just people watch. how is surigao this year? and how much does it cost to spend a week or so there? is it expensive?
