There is a practice of Cleaning the Teeth, which we all are following in each Morning and Evening. It is necessary that we must clean our teeth to avoid bad smell from the mouth and remove rest of the food what we had. According to Dentist's advice we must clean our teeth each time after we had some food and some people are following it. There is a doubt exists that, after cleaning the teeth is it necessary to clean our Tongue and if so what purpose will it serve and what is the right way of clean the Tongue? Your comments on the subject are Welcome. Thanks.

Yes, the tongue should be cleaned along with the teeth. Food particles and bacteria also get lodged between the taste buds, which can also cause bad breath, even after you have brushed your teeth. The way to clean it is to take your brush after you have cleaned your teeth, and brush it as well. You can also go out and get a tongue scraper, which works a little better than the brush, but not much.
