To be truthful, I don't like myself very much. Because I am a little narrow-minded. So I don't think I am easy-going.
Has this question ever come to your mind? Do you like yourself? Take a look at your image in the mirror, and think about your personality. If there is another person who got the same image and personality as you like twins. Do you think you could get along well with him?

No I do not like myself very much, it is funny that you bring this up, I have been doing a lot of soul searching in this last few weeks and I am remembering things that I have purposely forgot and finding that I do not like what I am remembering at all. I think that I have been a really horrible person in my life, especially to my parents. My personality is fine and lots of things now are fine, but I am not sure I would get on with me if I were two people.

I am sorry for reminding you of the displeasure things.
Though people tend to be concerned for their interest and be a little selfish in daily life, I believe there is still a desire for goodness in their deep heart. But most of them just can't see their own demerit.
Thank you for your response!

Frankly, I have never workout on this activity of self-learning. I ever tried but failed to continue. I know that I have lots of defaults but still I remain always unable to overcome them or sometimes I overcome them only for some few days and I am influenced again. Just like, I tried to be less violent and to implement teachings of great people in my life..but peer pressure and bad companionships often ruin this attempt. Well I don't blame my friends but still I prefer to see a change when I can control myself, when I can firmly choose good companionship. But as I am, I don't like myself.

I think you just need to have more confidence in yourself. Maybe you have low self-esteem. It does not really matter what other people think of you, but I think it is important to like yourself.
As long as you know that you do nothing to harm anyone else and you try to lead a good life, you know that you are better than those who do bad things.
Being self critical is a good start to self knowledge and if there is anything you want to change about yourself you can do it. But you have to be true to yourself too. That is who you are and you should feel comfortable about it.

Yes. I do not hold strong self-confidence. I began to pay attention to my own weakness after reading some books in psychology. As you mentioned above I think it's a great start to self-improvement. I desire to change the weakness in my personality. But it's not easy. Anyway I am still on my way. I know people wouldn't get inner peace untill they are the one accepted by themselves.
