i prefer to read the books as you can let your imagination run wild and make up what people and place look like it makes it much more interesting. the characters in the movies are nothing like i imagined whist reading the books!!!

I find that the books are more personal, it feels as if your actually connecting to the characters. The books also have more details compared to the movies - the HP movies, I've noticed, tend to leave important details out or they change parts of it. Still, I enjoy the books more, but also love the movies.

the movie always disappoints me in some ways. there's a lot of hole in the movie, and they tend to leave out some parts which is important.

I read the books first, and fall in love with this book. The movie is also beautiful. But limited by the length of movie, less information could be expressed, and so that some of my friends who have not seen the book first could not understand the movie clearly. So in my opinion, it is better to see book first.

i like to read it first, but still excited to watch the movie. there are scenes in the book where you cant find in the movie... so the book is mostly the complete story.. what i love in the movie is the effects thats why we all get so excited to watch it...

I prefer reading the books first and then watch the movie. By reading the book first, you will have an information about the movie and then you can totally understand the scene because always, the movie is not page by page the same with the book. They change something with the setting or story line to fit the 600+pages of the book to almost 2 hours movie time.
