I think the success of the IPL is more because of the money and gilter that is associated with it as being part of rich BCCI. One factor which added to it is also the international players, participating , the sponcers like priti zinta , shah rukh khan and others. (also the cheerleaders). But one thing to mention the most of the international players have outperformed Indian players, whereas the in ICL it started with the aim to give the young and budding talent to limelight, i have seen a couple of ICL matches they are really as entertaining as the IPL ones but unfortunately never had the shine as it deserved.

Oh! Their name is becoming down. Due to the strong punch of BCCI, they became toy. We can hope that they will forecome with good ideas. They can able to produce quality players for India.
