gold sniffing dog

is it possible to train dogs to search for golds? i have this funny thought that might help those desperate gold hunters...hahaha..why not train dogs to track down golds like drugs or bombs... on the second thought! maybe not..they might just abuse man's bestfriend! just a thought!

That is a wierd thought. I suppose that might be possible if gold had a distinctive smell. But that would not be any good if it happened because there is just too much gold around, in jewelry, in watches, etc.

yeah..if there is a distinctive smell..but the funny thing is gold will never be rare as it is, ill try to train one of my puppy..hahaha...thanks though!
