When you meet people, you seem to like some at first sight why others it takes a while before you become friends, so what exactly trips you in a person that makes you feel he or she is a friend

Well to me it is someone that i have a lot in common with. We can have a good time with one another. I feel at ease when i am around them. You can be you. They accept you for the person that you are.They don't criticize you. They are there for you if you need a sholder to cry on, and aso there for you in your time of joy. They are people you can trust.
