why do eveyone use friendster ryt now?

Hi! Welcome to myLot. I dont really know what the other people's reasons are but in my experience I joined Friendster because most of my friends are there. Since the site launched in 2002(?) or early in the millennium Ive had many many many invitations to open up an account there. I didnt open an account right there and then because I really dont like to publicly display myself out into the world. I dont even wanna be noticed that much at all in the real world much less thought the internet where most of the world is in. Then most of my friends already have a friendster account and there were times that I needed to access their information in Friendster with their permission of course. I actually put off joining Friendster for 4 years(?) Im not really sure of the exact statistics but im pretty sure it took longer than 2 years before I finally joined. At first it was alright. then it kinda became a good thing because I can just leave messages for my friends whenever I need them and I actually found a friend who I have not seen since 6th grade. Its a nice way to connect again and whenever theres an event and I have picutres, all I need is to post it there so that anyone who wants to get his/her own copy can just get it form there and not ask for a cd transfer, or any other media which they will just post in the internet afterwards themselves. Its easier when you have Friendster. But thats just for me and my circle of friends. Im sure other circles of friends have their own site too.
