Younger Man As Partner

My husband is about 4 years younger than I am. Generally speaking we get along pretty well, as married couples go.He can be quite immature, as far as taking care of anything not involving his work and his cars, but we've been together since 1995, and it seems to work out so far. Sometimes I still wonder, though.

age doesn't matter when it comes on love. my partner's also a year younger than me but he acts more maturely than i am lol

My fiance is two and a half years older than me and we both like anime. I don't think that has to do with being young, it's just a personal interest.

My fiance is also much younger than me, and I like it just fine. When we first started dating, I didn't think it would work out, but he's a lot more mature than some of the men my own age that I've met, AND he still knows how to have fun. We are both pretty silly and have a lot of fun together, but we can also be grown-ups when we need to be. :)

I am six years younger than my wife...she has a hard time keeping up with me in more ways than one sometimes, but it is good overall. I have always liked women a few years older than me. Wouldn't want a younger woman to settle down with...

My boyfriend is 8 years younger than me and he also loves to watch Anime! He has a fixation with Dragon Ball Z. He owns the video games for PS2 and he also owns just about every episode on either DVD or VHS as well as downloaded onto his computer. Myself, and I'm showing my age here, I really like Speed Racer, but he says that's old school and he doesn't like it! I love having a younger man as my partner, we get along very well and he even likes my kids. I haven't found an older man, or one my age, who can deal with kids. Probably because they already have kids of their own or they just feel they're too old to have them. I don't know, but I think our age difference is just about perfect!

I don't think there is anything wrong of being with a younger man, as long as you love him. Maturity doesn't always come with age, and we see plenty of older men that are immature. As for his love for anime, so what? Hey, I'm in my late 30's and I love watching anime. The important part is that he is mature enough in matters that count, like in your relationship and in his responsibility towards life. As for his interests, that only makes him, more..shall we say...interesting.

Twice I have ended up in relationships with a man younger than me. In one I don't think we were really aware there was an age difference. We started as friends and age never came up. In the other relationship it doesn't feel like there is any age difference there either even though we know each other's ages. It's strange I never thought I would date someone younger or consider them as a life partner. But either of these guys were/are contenders for being keepers in my opinion. Even though they are younger it feels like they are older I guess because they are really smart. I'm in my 40's and the best thing about someone younger is they have so much more energy and fun attitudes it seems. Although I'm sure there are men in their late 40's and older who do as well. But the ones I've gone out with who say they have a lot of energy really don't. The last boyfriend I had that was older than me, and he was only 48 or 49, couldn't make love more than once every few days and he seemed pretty fit. The younger boyfriend is a lot more capable in that sense in my limited experience.

I once had a girlfriend who was odler than I was... And she happened to be my first love :) so i guess there's nothing wrong with that.
