Human teeth vs Animal teeth

Every day we have to clean our teeth to make our teeth healthy.I brush my teeth atleast two times daily in morning and before bedtime.Doctors advice to clean eveytime after having food.Look at animals cow,cat,dog....they donot brush their teeth and their teeth remains healthy.
My question is why we human have to brush our teeth but animals do not?

well,i never thought about it ..... may be because we eat synthesised food(containing chemicals) hampering our teeth
& oral hygine .......maybe we havent seen dog's/cat's/cow's teeth very closely they may also suffer tooth-cavity,swelly gums,etc....
or maybe the dentists are wrong!!!
