Yup, there was a time when you could get a dollar coin and it was 90% pure silver. I don't even know what they make those new "gold" dollar coins out of, it sure as heck isn't gold. I like this design, liberty looks so young and free. It was a coin made to celebrate the end of world war 1. With the price of silver now if you had one of these in your pocket and it was all beat to heck it would still be more like a $20 bill. Depending on the date on it a lot more!
