Things about cats that I hate...

Don't get me wrong, I love cats. I even prefer a cat to a dog. But cats do have a nasty habit that sometimes are really annoying, and these are:
1. They scratch the furniture.
2. They go out (outside the house) late at night, which the rats like.
3. They are prolific in making kittens, 2 or more times a year.
4. They lay their young (kittens) in your clothes.
Aside from that I love cats. It seems that cats are not truly domesticated. It seems that cats are just opportunists who use humans to get what they need.
So if you have any tips to help me control my cat from doing this things, it would certainly be most appreciated.

You need to get your cat spayed obviously. The world is so overpopulated with cats you can't continue to bring more into the world.

Hello al_bobid. I do agree with you. I also hate it when cats scratch the furnitures. It drives us crazy most especially my dad. I also dont like it whenever they kill a rat and leave it in front of a place where you can see it. I dont like it when they climb on top of the table to steal our food. I dont like it when they fight in the middle of the night when you are about to sleep.

Haha, yeah I agree! You most definatly need to get your cat or cats spayed/neutered. That would prevent the cat from having kittens and what not. I dont think I can help you with getting the cat(s) to stop scratching the furniture and to not go out at night time. My cat also goes outside at night and at times will wake someone up to get back in. Also, what I do not like about cats is when they meow and meow for stupid things. My cat meows all the time to give her more food when she already has enough. I think she is picky or just wants attention or something like that.

All your cat needs is a responsible owner. Get her spayed which would take care of most of your problems. Keep her inside, another problem solved.
You can teach her not to scratch furniture, you know. Take a soda can and fill it with little pebbles or coins, enough so that it makes a noise when you shake it. Put it on top of the furniture she scratches so that it falls near her and makes a big noise when she scratches. After a few times, she should stop. Or tape aluminum foil over the places she scratches. She won't like the feel of it. Or double sided sticky tape will do the same thing.
I hope you get your cat spayed. It is much better for her health than having litter after litter.
