Uploading Videos on Youtube

Have you tried uploading a video on youtube? I wanted to upload a dance performance by my son and his classmates on their graduation but I tried thrice and there's always an error and the upload always fail. How about you? Did you have problems uploading videos on youtube too or you didn't encounter any problem at all?

nope none at all. Can you give me some details about the video and we can try to fix the problem: length (if it is over 10 minutes, youtube will NOT accept it, try using sites like http://megavideo.com which do allow more than 10 minutes). Size, if the video is over (100 mb i think, youtube will not allow it). Format, check the extension, .dv and such will not upload.

Hi there qdietz! The video runs for a little more than three minutes only. About the file size, I'll check it later because I have it saved on another pc. I will post again later the size of the file and the extension too. Thank you very much for your response.

I had problems at first when I tried uploading .avi files, which are too large. I then switched to MPEG1 and for videos longer than 3-4 minutes, sometimes I have to go to .wmv instead and lower the quality even more.
