My ex husband and I have a daughter together. Since him and I have split up he has had a not so very upstanding girlfriend(Lisa). She has been in and out of drug rehab. So much to where I won't really let my daughter go to their house much because I think that she is to young to be around that kind of person. She is only 11. Last summer when she was in drug rehab for the ? time. I was talking to my daughter after she had went down to visit her dad. She was telling me she went to visit with Lisa. I didn't know that she was in rehab and I asked where her brother Jake was and she said with Lisa in rehab. I couldn't believe it. Someone try to make me understand how a person could take their child into rehab with them. I would understand if the child had no where to go. But he has tons of family that offered to take him. I hate it when mothers pull stupid stunts like this. After all it isn't the childs fault that his mother is a drug addict. Why should he be there?

You have got to be kidding! I don't care how much people might think that having the child there might help her. It's rehab, for goodness sakes! I understand allowing minor children to visit a parent going through the program, but to have the child live there is just not right. (Wonder how much therapy that poor child will need when he gets older.)

I think when he gets older they are going to have a real problem with him. He is four maybe five. Doesn'y know how to talk very well. Is still not potty trained. And already throwing things at his parents and hitting them all the time. I think he already needs a little therapy.
