how did you meet your best friend?

When I was 24 years old, with a wild haired 2-year old boy and a cute baby girl, Cheryl moved in downstairs from me with her very dainty & adorable 3-year old daughter. The first thing my son did was get her dirty, making her scream bloody murder and that's how we met. We were neighbors for about 3 years and have remained friends ever since. Cheryl was very unhappy when I moved to Florida but she and her husband manage to get down here once a year and I go back home every year.

I met my Best friend in 2001 when we both were in orientatoin for a job. I was really timid then and quiet when I first met people. She was completely opposite. She said things like they were and I thought she was mean as hell. In fact, she scared me. And I remember one of the days when we were on break together and everyone else went in I kept saying over and over in my head "Please don't talk to me, Please don't talk to me." Well, she talked to me and I don't even remember what it was about or what I said but I still thought she was mean. Then we began workign together a lot and we started talking about our lives and it turns out she had just gotten out of a really bad relationship and she was very defensive because of it. Over the years we have both helped each other out of bad places by being there for each other, and she is not mean at all by the way. And we still are very close, very much like family. And remarkably we still work at the same job seven years later. Now we laugh about how I was scared to talk to her.

I met my best friend when I was at high school, I didn't have many friends then and I started to hang out with him because our personality fift really well, because we both shared a lot of common interst, we liked to play same kind of video games and talk about anime, I met him 10 years ago and we still talk each other even when we live very fat away eatch other, I remember that their family doesn¡t like much our friendship because we were doing bad at school and they blame me for it, of course we started to study a little more and all was good again, anyway I think it was the best time of my life and it was a lot of fun too, I think it is really hard to find really good people to share good times, because people is so different and with so many different tastes about things that it makes harder to keep in touch with people.

I meet my best friend when I am in primary school. They are very friendly, humor and we always helping each others. Its a nice memory with them and I always miss them so much. Now all my best friend are staying far away, got their own job and some were married so its hard to meet them now. Sometimes on december we organize an event to gather all the best friends, laugh, have fun etc. Friends can make us laugh and sometimes can make us teas. Anyway best friends is limited , guess so. Not all of our friends is best, so we just becareful when choosing a friend.

hmmm... i have 5 close friends. 1 of them we go way way way back together. we met when she was in kinder 2 and i was in prep school. hehehe... we entered grade 1 together and over the years became close... i met 2 of my other friends in the same school when we were grade 5 and the other 2 we met when we were in highschool. its really nice to know that i made a close bond with friends who have been with me since i was a kid then growing up. we still keep contact till now and sometimes see each other whenever we can. but not as often as we like since everybody is starting to work and persue other courses they want. but the bond will always be there

I first met my college best friend about three years ago in the hallway of our school. She was one of my friend's classmate back when they were still in high school. That day my friends and I were about to take our lunch but got delayed because she held up my friend. Since that day I barely bumped into her again until after about six months. She ended up as my classmate in some courses but we never really talked. I just used to smile at her in case I bumped into her. Then one day the organization I was in set up a general meeting after a really long time of inactivity and to my surprise I found her there. We've been part of the organization for so long but we never realized we were in it together. The organization became very active that time and we began to work together most of the time and since then we became really close not knowing how or why. And up to this very day no matter how complicated things became between us and around us, we are still best of friends.

Well, Its a long story . I was in a private tution class that time and she was also student there. she came to get interested in me after knowing my rank in exams there but not getting chance to meet me . One day we faught on a topic in discussion class and then come to know each other. After that she changed her class and we are best friend now . We share our all problems and try to give our all effort to solve that . We have shared everything , some times bed too ... But don't think it in otherwise .... he he Thanks !!!

I met my bestfriend when we were like...a year old. (17 years ago!) So I don't remember any crazy experiences. We lived around the corner from eachother though. One of my more recent bestfriends though, we met when we were 12. He lived across the street from me and I would make him give me piggy backs to school. Then he dropped me and that stopped. haha

I met my best friend 7 years ago. actually we know each other but we are not close to each other. the only thing that made us close and become best of friends was the song of Missy Elliot entitled "Work It". I was outside our house and I heard the music of Missy Elliot for the first time from a nearby house. That music created a smile in my face. Then this guy walked in font of that house and also he heard the song. Then he started to dance then I laughed at this guy and he asked me to dance with the music too. So we danced like crazy. It was the time when we started to talk and since then we do a lot of crazy things till we get close. Everyday from morning till midnight, we spend time going to different places, searching for girls, playing and fooling around, telling funny stories and jokes, and telling our problems to each other. Now, he has his wife and his wife is 1 month pregnant and I am now busy at work and we don't have time to do the things we did before.

Wow, I am glad that he turned out to be a riot! I met my best friend in HS as well. It was in 11th grade and she was in m 1st and 2nd Period classes. I went up to her one day while we were walking to 2nd period and asked her if she was in my 2nd period. We walked to class every day together ever since.

Though I have a lot of good friends that I still keep from my primary years of schooling, this friend now that I call bestfriend is from my college years. Since the day we met on oour first day of school we did not go on separate ways anymore. Since then until now eventhough I am far, she still make the effort of looking for ways to contact me and when she does, we'll still talk as if we'l never see each other again. She usually checks my mom too. It's so amazing because I never ask her to do those things. Even in our early years as being friends, her intuition of my needs and comfort are so timing. She is the listener and I am the chatter. She approciates things quickly as I still doubtfully examines things. We may be a little different but we share most of life's theories and needs.

i said the person who my best friend we hate each other at the age of 12 and he was quite evil to me,i think when we reach about 13-14 we starting talking get to know each other and all that stuff,i mean i be best friend with him for near 10 years now and i got to said it weird how we hate each other at first and become best friends.

I was new to the city I presently live in and my best friend was from the city but was new to the school. It was the first year that the elementary school was open, so there was a lot of people in my class that didn't know anyone, and everyone kind of felt "new". I actually tried really hard to get a seat next to this other girl i'd notcied outside because I had really liked her pants but got "stuck" next to Amy. We've been best friends ever since.. :)

I met my best friend while we were both doing our laundy in the apartment wash room. we got to talking and I realized that our sons were best friends also. we started going to diabetic meetings together and have been best friends for years now.

I actually metmy best friend when i moved to the US from Sweden (as i was born there) when i was about 11 years old. She was the very first person i talked to and we just hit it right off, to this day we are still the best of friends even though she still lives in florida and i moved to mass in 2004.
