Taxi/Cab Service

Is it easy for you to hail a taxi/cab in your town? Are you happy with your taxi/cab service? Obviously, there is wide variation in the standard and consistency of taxi/cab operations in every town and country existing in this exciting world of ours. Let me hear your say in case I happen to be visiting your town and desperately hunting for a taxi/cab to take me to my hotel.

ha my town.. to get a taxi you have to call the service on the fone. and even then... idk..lol

In my city, there is what is known as CITI TAXI. If one is coming from railway station or air port, there is prepaid taxis. Amounts are paid in advance. In side the city, when taxis are called through phone, they put the meter on from the starting point and they do not ask extra. It seems quite ok. If you give TIP it is gladly accepted. If they do any tricks in the meter, I wouldn't know.
