I just changed my internet connection and a group of us share a connection. I'm not sure how it works but I need to know if I am behnd a proxy. Is there an online tool that will tell me?

Try using a site like http://ip-lookup.net It will say what location your computer is currently in. If you appear to be in a different country, you're more than likely behind a proxy.

Thanks for that link. It has a proxy check and gave me this: You are not using a proxy or it could not be detected (Not all proxies identify themselves)

You can check this at http://www.ip-details.com/ . If you are behind a proxy, you will view a different ISP name, address, location instead of your ISP's details.
