why is it there are many OBESE in western countries?

For westerners, it's always known that they are much more bigger size as compared to us asians.. It's not really due to they eating too much and become obese, but rather, they need to eat that much to fill themselves up, in order to feel full enough.. Thus, it's much more easier for them to become obese because it's their diet that makes them so..

Well, I know that in North America, the portion sizes have inflates something fierce in the last few decades. They are 3 times larger than a typical portion in Germany. I know that from personal experience, my mother gave me some plates that were a wedding gift for her back in the 1970's and they are about half the size of the dinner plates I recieved as a gift for Christmas just last year. I live in Canada, and I see a lot of obese people, but last year when I went to Anaheim California with my Fiance, I saw eating and obesity like I had never seen before. It was actually sad to see so many people riding those motorized scooters because they were to heavy to walk themselves.
