Does anyone know how to make the coconut that are on some chinese buffets? I have tryed to look it up but all I get is the fried kind. My Hubby and son love it and I would love to make it for them.

I am no culinary expert myself but the coconut milk needs to be extracted first and then added to the dish you are preparing. I think this is what you are trying to do. If you have the dessicated coconut you will have to add water and extract the milk by using a cloth and pressing on it to get the milk out.
