"practice makes a man perfect" & it is said no one is 'perfect' THEN why practice?

Good question. But, think of it this way (My mom sent me this a long time ago) Nobody is perfect. I am nobody. Therefore, I am perfect. Just a thought*S*

Practice is what we do to improve something we know we can do better. Why just settle for results? Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results, are signs of insanity. But if you change the way you do things, and practice, you can then improve and expand your knowledge. The quest is not for perfection, but for your own personal development and success, that is better for us all....

becuase perfection is what the human mind strives for, even though it's really impossible so maybe practice makes perfect is just meant to me inspirational, but not truthful?
