How many people are currantly afraid of how the world's oil and food prices are rising? And do you think there is hope for the future, or do you think that we are on a downward spiral?

I think there will be more hope for the future, if people who care and are concerned about these things, get more involved and tell the people who can change these things, what we want done.
I believe if we don't make changes, and find alternate energy sources, we will forever be ruled by the oil companies. Ruled by the rich. Why can't they invest in research? They are in the energy business, wouldn't they want to be sure they still made money? It's because they are making money, why stop it? They have control, a monopoly, when monopolies are supposed to be illegal, and yet we have no one providing us another alternative? People are asking for them, we need to step up and get more active. If we really care, we will.
