Woman in danger

I am so angry to learn that in this day and age women and in some cases men are still not protected by laws that do not exist. Still today if a man decided to leave a woman and all the money is in his name she is out of luck. Even if he is starting to lose his mind she still has no protection. We keep reading about women who divorce and get lots of money but we never hear about woman and most are older women who get nothing. Maybe we should start a campaign to get some laws for these people. Many women live in fear, to afraid to leave because they have nothing. Shouldn't there be a law that says after so many years a wifr or even someone thats has lived together for years should have some kind of protection.

Most courts in the U.S. will take into consideration the needs of the woman during a divorce but not all states are the same. There are groups that advocate for the rights of women durng a divorce, especially stay at home moms with little or no skills to support themselves with afterwards, and you can always contact your state representatives and make your feelings known.
