Hold those nuts!

I don't have a nut allergy or anything like that, I just don't care for nuts of any sort in my brownies or cookies either. Those little chips are wily and can get hung up in the tiniest spin a tooth or between your teeth that you need floss, a tooth brush, a pick ax and miner's lighted helmet to find it and get it out of there. N E 1 else prefer their brownies unfettered by nuttiness?

You're right. Nuts completely 100% ruin the brownie, for me anyway!

D@mn skippy. Nice 2 know I'm not alone in this. It's one of lessons & reasons why I've carried a travel sized toothbrush & mini toothpaste in my purse for years. Because of a horrid run in with a walnut laden brownie. What genius came up with that recipe in the first place? Whomever it was, I hope they were jumped by squirrels and given a beat down. 8^D

I'm just the opposite. I love brownies with walnuts or pecans in fact, a brownie without nuts to me is missing something. Besides eating brownies with nuts makes them slightly healthier. You are eating protein plus some omega 3.

My brother once said, " Anyone who puts nuts in cookies, is!" I think that the same thing could be said for someone who puts nuts in their brownies.
