Pen or Or Pencil?

...there's nothing better than a freshly sharpened pencil..! And then there's that great convenience the eraser!! Yes I like a pencil much better. But ever since getting a computer I don't hardly ever use one anymore.. And of course if you're signing something or making out a check, it has to be ink.. And you know, it's hard to find really good pencils anymore! You can't sharpen them! They break instead. And often times the eraser doesn't even erase very good! Maybe I better start buying more expensive pencils..?

I use them both...When I am trying to write a poem or something important I use the pencil the most.Just in case fo mistakes it is easier to erase...

I rarely use a pencil. The only time is when I am at work and I am adding more hours to my work schedule on a large calendar that is kept in our department. I use a pen for everything I do at home.

I don't like pencils, they smear and fade away. I like pens, I prefer black or purple.

I use both pens and pencils when I am at my art table drawing, but for most other writing I use a pen. My favorite is the Zebra F-301 and I buy them in packs of a dozen and put one on a clip next to every desk or table in every room. Gotta have my Zebras!

I'll go for the pen, it's better to see what you erased so you don't repeat the mistake. It also feels like I'm doing more work when using a pen, and the "erasing" process is generally quicker.

actually it depends what work i m doin. if its somthng rough work tht i m doin i use pencil or otherwise most of teh times i prefer using pen.

I always use a pen. I have not used a pencil since I was in highshcool and we were not allowed to use pens. My son uses pencils to do his homework with though so I do have alot of pencils in the house.

Depends whether I'm doodling or concentrating, hehe ;P I use mainly pen, and at that normally biro because I write faster. When I write with a fountain pen, I tend to write TOO naturally and my writing becomes excessively "elegant" ... more like I convice myself the mess is pretty =P

i use pen, if i get something wrong just scab over it and wrote it again :P

Ill usually will grab a ballpoint pen before I get a pencil, unless im drawing..

pens--no more needing to sharpen them. Plus they feel more comfortable in your hands.

I prefer using a pencil as I write better with one and when I make mistakes I can erase them. I will use a pen if I have to, but would rather not.

I use pens more because there are more of them lying around plus you don't have to keep sharpening them however I prefer to use pencils because I like the way it feels when they write.

Hmmm, I think I used more pencils than ink.. I mean, I sure did use a fair share of ball pens during my elementary and high school but, I often drew during those times with pencils. Then when I got to college, I really used a mechanical pencil alot.. lead is lead so I think that counts as a pencil. Pen or pencil, as long as its black for me. If given a blue pen, I'd still ask for a black one

i am into a lot of writing these days so i use more of the pencil as i find it more convenient for my drafts.but of course i do use pen too.

I almost always use a pen, but will use a pencil for sudoku puzzles or crossword puzzles.

usually a pen . when i write poems i use a pencil and also when i keep a food journal.
