I don't think that it is the right thing to do without the anti virus installation as on the internet we get a lot of the viruses thaf can lead to the great problems,so i think you should install an antivirus in your computer first. You can install AVAST antivirus as it doesn't affect the speed of the computer in any way and it is very much effective even when updated.So what i think is that you should install this antivirus and then use the internet. Moreover it is updated automatically every time when you are connected to the internet so try this out you will surely get better.

If you're using Winblows, of course it's NOT safe. It's not free, but it's not expensive either, but a good anti-virus that doesn't bog your computer down is NOD32 by Eset. I recommend you use that. If you're running Winblows without an anti-virus, you're just asking for trouble. Unless you're REALLY good and don't open attachments and are REALLY careful about the sites you visit. Even then, I wouldn't want to run my computer without an anti-virus. Think about it, if you do, chances are you're computer's going to run slow anyway because it'll get bogged down by all the malware on your system.

No it is not safe to stay online without an antivirus installed in your machine. I recommend that you use an up-to-date antivirus before connecting to the internet. As we all know that viruses are every where and they mainly target innocent people who are still newbie on the internet. I do prefer NOD32 because it is very light on resources. It does not slow down the speed performance of your machine. :-)

Try to Use Quick heal anti virus because it is very small and compact one i am sure it doesn't slow down ur system it secure ur pc when u r online surfing,, i tried it, its working
