Obama has tried to cover his religious trail in many
different ways, from hushing up the Muslim affiliations
of his family, to denying his loyalty to the ministry
of Jeremiah Wright over a 20myear period. Here is a blog
that is very enlightening on the issue of Obama and
his true religious affiliations. Here's the link:

*tries to rein in some patiance*
For the last time: it wouldn't matter AT ALL what the heck religion he was if people didn't have this islamophobia these days -- which is pure stupidity, if you'll forgive my language.
I have good friends who're muslims and the most peaceful people I know.
What a few people do with a religion does not make the religion bad. If it did, then christianity's awful because of the crusades and the witch craze.
You can't use that argument, few religions are without blood stained history...WHEN in history is occurs is irrelevent.
I doubt he's truly a muslim, and if he is I could care less. He's had a varied education, he's met and spoken with a wide variety of people. He's a politician, for Goddess' sake!
And for your info, I'm -not- an Obama supporter. I'm a Ron Paul supporter. So bleh.
Btw, that link leads to a page which blogger says no longer exists.
Also; I don't mean this to look like I'm upset with you, I'm just kinda tired of this topic. I hear it all the time, and it gets on my nerves.

Christians aren't burning witches or blowing up buildings for that matter, TODAY. Big difference, and the analogies thrown around in attempts at political correctness are not viable comparisons.
Islamo-"phobia" has a reason for existing.

Mr. Nice Guy, we rarely ever agree.
Whether it was today or a thousand years ago, it doesn't really make a difference -- you have to view it subjectively, if you view it personally you risk your own bias. You can't minimize the sufferings of others' culturessimply because, "Oh, that happened a long time ago." just like you can't blow up current events, because it's happening now. It is the same. Islam itself is currently plagued by people who're taking their religion to an extreme...and if we really want to get into blaming and faults that's overly complicated and not even worth it.
This is an unfortunate situation. People die because of someone else's point of view...but it's not new in the realm of religion at all. Nor is it that extraordinary.
The biggest thing about it is, we're fighting an idea, not a country with terrorists.
Anyway, I acknowledge that if he is it could be a conflict of interest and that would be bad. As for dishonest, I'm not sure why most people believe that the average politician is gonna be honest -- because most of them didn't get where they are without lying.
Since he's lived here rather peacefully for most of his life, I don't see any reason, for me anyway, for me to be afraid of him getting elected and being a muslim.
The real muslims don't agree with the terrorist muslims and condemn their actions. So, he'd feel sympathy...*shrugs*
I don't fear the people from the middle east, nor their religion. Not the good people, nor the bad ones.
I'm sad that many people do, since it validates what the terrorists are doing. It's in their name, they decided that when they grew up they wanted to be proffessional boogeymen. Fear them, treat them like they're a big deal (I'm not saying they're nothing, nor am I saying they're not a problem...but treating them like they're not nerds and brainwashed followers I mean...) and you make them happy because their entire goal was to make you afraid.
Sometimes I think, trying to muddle through their strange logic...if it can sometimes be called that...that they think that we'll destroy ourselves through fear.
And knowing what our own government can manipulate us into doing via our fear (look at the last seven years closely)...It doesn't make me feel any better.
I really doubt he's a muslim, he went to that church all those years, and his pastor obviously knows him though they may have their own conflicts of views.
And his wife doesn't seem like a muslim either, and she seems to be "The lady behind the man"..so, you know.
So..he's a christian, at least that's what most of us believe heh...and I'm not sure that's much better, if you look at his pastor. 'Cause christians can be "extremist" too (though it's rarer these days than it was a few years ago, there are still some today which're use their religion as a justification for harming others. This does not make the entire religion bad. Nor most of its followers. It just means they occasionally get some crazy or messed up people sometimes).
I just prefer not to make assumptions, I applaud people keeping all the curious connections in mind, but I'd reccomend looking at all the curious little connections. Not just the ones that scare you the most.

Yes I truly believe he is not only a closet Muslim but also a racist. The old saying that "birds of a feather flock together" pretty much say it all.

I believe he is, too. But you can't really make the racism charge stick because all good, devout Muslims are SUPPOSED to hate Christians and Jews.
