I have finally got to do my own haircut! What do you guys think?

Hey, you guys!
I have finally got to cut my own hair. I feel great about it. So for now on, whenever I give myself a great haircut, I will take the time to use my scissors and clippers to get down to bald and scalp level. Now I feel a lot better about. Hey, lots better than going to the barber. After all that work, I took a nice warm shower, washing all the loose hair and especially washing my scalp with shampoo and conditioner in one. That way I do not have to worry about paying the barber to cut my hair. I can cut my own hair for free. I am keeping all the hair I cut in a bag. That way anytime I can look at all my hair I cut. Once down at scalp level, I shave off oily particles that cause dandruff, dry scalp, or damaged hair. So, I wonder what you all think about this self reliance. Please post your opinions and thoughts.

Hi Jake, you are great to cut your own hair by yourself. It is difficult to cut the back part of the hair. I wonder how you do it yourself. It is rally amazing. Yeah, to do hair cut ourselves could save money and time as well. It is rather disgusting to spend our precious time waiting at the hair saloon. Though I keep long hair the fringe on my forehead still keep on growing very fast so I cut it myself once in a month.

Yeah the back of my hair is the hardest area when it comes to haircut. I have been saving all that hair by putting it in the bag to be donated to a salon shop. LOL. I save $ that way. It takes me about two hours to get it done. Involves sheers, clippers, shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing during taking shower. Also shaving the rest of hair down to scalp level. It's risky but worth it. Then after all I feel fresh. My scalp would feel smooth for a while.

I think anything we can do for ourselves, without having to pay someone for it, the better... I don't know as I've ever paid anyone to cut my hair.. Though I did for my daughter when she was young.. Our son does the same as you.. uses a razor for a short 'butch' cut..

I agree. I always do my own haircut now in order to esp save $. I do not go to the barber no more. After each point I get done with my haircut my scalp would feel real smooth for a while. It takes me almost two hours to do it. Because it involves scissors, clippers, sweeping up the hair and putting all that in the bag to be saved, also a nice shower to shave the rest of the hair down to the scalp level. Then I shampooed and conditioned and rinsed to feel fresh.

I think that it is great. I can't remember the last time I actually went to a barber. I have been cutting (or rather my wife has) my own hair for years. I keep my hair short all year long. It only takes a couple of haircuts to pay for the clippers and all.

That is always great that I do my own haircut. That way I save $$$ that way. I do not like curly hair at all. I bet my aunt loves my hair.
