My youngest daughters great-grandma used to make it. It is a very thin pancake. You put butter and syrup on it and roll it up. They were very good, but I can't find a recipe. I also look for good recipes for apple fritters, although I like mine without the apple chunk. If anyone knows a good web site I could visit to find odd recipes, please share. I'd also like a sage dressing recipe.
Thanks ahead of time.

I'm German and have not heard of that term "Blenna". It might be a regional thing. However, if it is a pancake type that's thin but is not as thin as crepe but about as big like in it fills the entire pan, then it's just a regular German pancake or "Pfannkuchen" as we say. We put sugar on it. I don't have exact measurements as I eyeball it just like my mom. But it's an egg per person, regular flour, and milk. It's all well mixed together and you have to add enough milk to make it very liquid. Oil in the pan, enough to cover the entire pan and pour in some of the pancake batter until almost the entire pan is covered with a thin film of batter. Bake on both sides.

Thank you so much for taking the time for all that. I really appreciate the recipe and I will try it on Saturday.
I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure Grandma called it Blenna and she made a lot of German food, so maybe I just assumed... And we all know about assuming. Thanks again.
