For me, it's coupons. I love coupons. I save so much every week on my groceries and household items by using coupons. Most of the time I get things really cheap and free by using coupons. So for me, this would be my biggest money saving strategy.

This miht sounds really basic, but I avoid the shops! If I'm not at the shops then I don't see things which take my fancy, and I don't spend money. You need to avoid online shopping opportunities as well of course!
An alternative, if you have to go near shops each day, os just to take enough money with you for what you expect to have to spend. Then you can't overspend. If you see something that you really must have, it also allows you to think it over before you go back with the money. Sometime you'll find that you don't really need it after all, when you've had a chance to mull it over.

Yes, that is definitely a great way to not spend, just not having the opportunity to do it, I agree, GreenMoo!

I love coupons too! especially for baby products, but if i WANT something I will have to ask myself if i really NEED it, and if I don't I'll try my best to put it back, sometimes it helps sometimes I get too tempted lol... like today... I bought some chocolate and skittles... i really don't need them but I was soooo craving them.

Needing less. If most of us look around our homes we have way to much junk as is so I avoid impulse shopping period. I don't shop endcaps or alleyways, and I never buy from the register lanes. This trick saves a fortune.
