In my opinion,I prefer a male leader to a female.Woman is bored. They can't accept that you don't work and hope that we could work all the time .I hate this kind of leader. But,most of man are magnanimous. As long as we complete our work on time ,we could do others what we want to do.Female the age between 30 and 50,who are the moment menopause. So,they are easy to lose their temper.I don't like them at all.Athough ,I am a girl too. What do you think about this? Please keep back your footprint here.

Hi sanzi1201, i dont mind if the leader is male or female, as long as they do their work right it doesnt matter for me their gender. even though female they can also be a great leader, not just a male. thanks and have a wonderful day and keep smiling

But,the female is very officious,I think.Sometimes ,they alway pay more attention to the unimportant things.I don't like it.

I must be honest I much prefer male leaders in the work place, I am a woman but I have found woman in authority tend to treat other female workers on a personal level almost like women are always competative towards each other, I used to always say women bosses seem to marry themselves to their position and can be nasty at times...

I don't think the gender matters, I think it depends on the person. Some males are horrible leaders and others are excellent - the same thing goes for women.

There are many great world leaders. Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir come to mind. They may be the exception to the rule. Gloria Arroyo and Corazon Aquino led the Philippines as president. I don't think they are good leaders. Benazir Bhutto who was assassinated might be a leader of her party but she could not unite Pakistan. There was great opposition to her.

Hi sanzi1201, if you ask me like this, i will answer you that i prefer male leader than a female leader. Unfortunately, it is not applicable to my current work. My immediate superior who is a female treat me really nice. She willing to share her knowledge to me and also protect me from being bullied by other department. She did motivate me a lot and apprecaite my contribution to company. However, lately there is one male joining us and become the head of department. After work with him for few months, i noticed that he actually having gender discrimination. He does not like to deal with female staff although they are his subordinate. When he wants to have meeting with me, he will call another guy to inform me, i just don't understand why. He will only nominate male staff to handle different kind of projects or issues. And the one really make a disapointed is: he decided to promote a guy who doesn't know anything to replace my superior. Try to imagine, how to work under a boss who don't even know what you are doing.

I wanted to say that there should be no difference, that qualities of leadership can be found anywhere. However, I am struggling to think of any women in such positions, that behaved well. all the best urban

I don't see these differences in men and women in the workplace. women aren't bored in a senior position. women between 30 and 50 are not all menopausal and bad tempered. who is better in charge depends on their individual character, not their genitals. I've had very good and very bad male and female managers.

Frankly, I don't really don't mind whether our leader is a man or a woman. A male leader will have his advantages, such as the determination, ambition etc. And a female will also have her advantages such as the sympathy, patience, hard-working etc. As long as he/she is a good leader, that will be good enough. I love China

I believe our creator willed men to lead and the women were created to become their collaborators. And since God knows best, I also think that it's better off if men lead. Generally, they are more effective and starting from home, it doesn't look good if the ultimate decision maker is the mother. Something is not right there if the father is just doing the laundry or meek all the time while his wife makes all the decision and the last say. In the government I think, men are also the better option but in the church, male leaders are the only options.
