Lucid Dreaming is the phenomenon where you are aware that you are dreaming and you are able to control your actions as you wish while dreaming. Nowadays i hear lots of people discussing about this phenomenon and how to wake up inside your dream. So have ever been able to experience this? what are your thoughts on this subject?

it can be done for real. it is just the mind that can control the actions that you're in. I've studied a little bit about this. and it is very interesting piece of info. but, to be able to do this, you must be able to awaken your astral body. which can be hard to do if you're not in a meditative state. everything evolves around us. We know how to do these things, but just don't know it, or don't care. to be like this, one must study on it, and do meditations properly to be able to conquer the task.

I have managed to have a few lucid or half lucid dreams. It really isn't that complicated, all you have to do is tell yourself you will have a lucid dream. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You can learn alot more about lucid dreaming at: www.ld4all.com they even have a forum with loads of topics!

The good 'ol Law of Attraction at work again...telling the universe that you want to lucid dream...tragically of course my mind knows that i want to have lucid dreams but its never happening...i remember dreams well but never am 'alive' inside them.

I'm capable of lucid dreaming but its not something that happens all the time for me in fact its only happened a few times in my life...Luckily though, those few times were enough to teach my son a few yrs back how to do it when he was goin through a rough patch and having horrible nightmares... One thing I WOULD like to learn but have been warned against it is astral projection...I'd love to give it a try but have been told by several ppl that its not in my best interest due to my history which kinda sucks LOL

Lucid dreaming can have some very important benefits but I don't especially seek out my dreams unless they begin to bother my daily life. There is a reason they are there and I let them stay in my sleeping hours. When something bothers me so much then I try to do lucid dreaming and try to find out what it is that is bothering me.

Lucid dreaming at your whim?...is that even possible, everyone talks about it as easy as tying ones shoelace...i feel its way more complicated and dont think its possible to be 100% aware in your dream. Recently had a dream where i was screaming to myself that it was a lucid dream...but it actually felt like i was having a dream inside my dream...was all groggy and unclear and later fizzled out.
