What Do You Prefer A Laptop Or A Computer ?

I prefer laptop because I often travel. It's portable and i really got to keep in touch even though I am in vacation. I have also a desktop at home but I don't usually use it. And by the way, i think the question must be : What do you prefer a laptop or a desktop (PC)? because laptops and desktops are both computers.

I've had both and I've found good qualities in both. The desktop is good because it usually has faster processors and more storage for less cost. But, a laptop is good because you can take it anywhere you want. The problem is that you have to pay way more for a laptop that has the same processing speed and hard drive size than a hard drive with the same capacity.

I prefer a laptop. I am in the process of buying one. I just need to find the right one. With all the little kiddos that I have I really need a laptop so when they are playing in the living room I can be working on my job or my school work at the same time. Laptop it is.

Well after using both a laptop and a desktop I would go for a laptop all the way. the laptop can do everything a desktop can do. Plus it is portable

i've had both a desktop and a laptop. i found that you can usually get a good deal on a desktop if you do your research and look for sales. mostly around back to school and christmas. but i must say that i prefer a laptop. it takes up less space in my house- which is great for me since i have a baby walking around. i can take it with me when i travel. i keep a lot of personal information on my computer and i'd like to keep it that way.

Again I think that it depends on what you want to do with it... "The right tool for the right job" Are you a studet... travel alot.. couch typer ... etc Then a laptop is probably the one to start with On the other hand, are you a gamer, or do you need a powerful processer etc... I have both, I like both, and I use them for different funtions...

i suggest buying a computer, rather than buying a laptop. Because i like to play computer games alot. so for me computer best suits. So i would buy computer,instead of laptop.

Depends on what you need most: value or mobility. PC has the best value. For the same amount of money, you'll get a much more powerful PC, with larger hard disk, more RAM, better LCD screen, more convenient keyboard, and so on. The same money may only buy a mediocre laptop. Yet, laptop gives you freedom to move, to bring your ideas along with you, allowing you to work just anywhere. Just as I do with my laptop (after using PCs for 20 years), with 3.5G Internet connection, I can simply browse anywhere anytime. Completely mobile. If mobility is not important for you (perhaps you stay at home/office most of the time), don't buy a notebook because it will be stationary just as a PC does. It's a silly way of spending money.

Right now, I prefer a laptop computer because I like bringing it when going somewhere else to connect and check some of my emails from work and at home.

I would prefer having my own desktop. I do have a laptop but I really feel like that desktop is much better than a laptop. I'm kinda paranoid when using my laptop because I'm too scared that I might broke it.

I used to have a PC, long time ago. I change to laptop and after that I never look back. I never use any PC anymore. I like laptop because it is mobile and small. I don't have much space to store a pc at home.

I like both and i have both desktop and laptop both have their advantage and disadvantage...wat can laptop do that desktop cannot do(like its portability)and wat can desktop do that laptop cannot do(like playing games), so i like and i have both

I prefer a desktop rather than the laptop. I have one that I use every day. I don't really have the need for a laptop.

personally i would prefer a laptop as it gives you mobility and flexiblity.Actually i am not much in games and music and need to mainly work with programming so i find it a luxury to work while lying down on bed or sitting on a sofa. also my work takes me out frequently so a laptop is the best.

i really dont know they have idfferent uses and convenience... that one i am undecided

What works best for you depends on your lifestyle and your habits. If you can do most of your computing at home you will get a better value with a laptop but, if you're away from home a lot, the convenience of a laptop can't be beat. I, personally, don't like laptops...I'm too picky about keyboards I guess.
