I enjoy train rides too very much. When I have the time and when the schedules fit with my travel plans, I chose the train. One train ride which I really enjoyed was by the famous "Bullet Train" from Tokyo to Osaka in Japan. That was the high-speed train. Oh that was an unforgettable experience. 300 km/hr. Like flying on a train !

I love travelling! It doesn't matter by what means of transportation. It will also depend on what destination you are going and who you are going with. For me quality is more important than quality. I would'nt enjoy if i will be travelling by myself. If we go by plane, ofcourse it would be faster. If by train, some takes a long time, some for just a while. If it takes a long time, I would still enjoy it if I have a good company. So I would need a nice destination, good company/companies and a safe trip to give me the best travel ever! I hope I can travel again soon...

i think travelling by train is good, because there are already lots of nice trains around.
but i would still prefer the plane, because it is so much faster to get to a destination. but of course, if you want sightseeing, a train ride or a bus ride is good. :-) driving would also be nice. but costs too much
good day! on to the next destination!

I absolutely love to fly. I think it's wonderful to just take off in the clouds. Flying for me has always been quite comfortable, especially flying economy class. First class isn't going to get a person there faster.

I love to travel by train most of all. In the day it is great to look out of the window at the passing scenery and there is usually much legroom. During the night I think I feel comfortable sleeping in a bunk in a compartment. In the day I often get chatting to fellow passengers and it is interesting to meet many different nationalities. I find it relaxing to travel by train and I arrive at my destination with the special kind of feeling that I have really enjoyed my journey. I have traveled on a train in Australia that had a club loco car attached to it. The scenery of mountains and coastline was gorgeous in New Zealand. I had a delightful time inter railing around Europe.
One day I would like to travel from the UK to Thailand all the way by train. To do this I would take a train from London to Brussels then on to Moscow. I would take the Trans Siberian Railway from Moscow to Beijing via Ulan Bator. Then I would catch trains to Ho Chi Min. Next I would catch a train and hop on a few buses to Bangkok, via Angkor Wot. That would be far more exciting that a twelve hour flight from London to Bangkok. Some trains have a timeless appeal and the Trans Siberian Railway must be a fascinating way to travel.

Train travel is really different and fun. I like to do it also. Car travel si probably my favorite though because you can stop whenever you want and see the sites around you at any given time.
