I finally have insurance! First time in 3 years. I'm so excited. Sunday morning I woke up with EXTREMELY itchy eyes. No kidding. I thought that I was going to claw my eyes out of my head they were itching so bad. Never has this happened to me before. Well I call my doctor to make my first appointment with her on Monday morning and she's booked up until Wednesday. I went ahead and made the appointment and ran to the local pharmacy for some eye drops and Claritin. Does anyone use this? Well my eyes stopped itching but then they were sore from my rubbing them. I had a scratch on one and the other had a bruise on the eye lid. I was miserable all day. I went to the doctor Wednesday and she prescribed me some eye drops for alergies and told me to continue taking Claritin. I also had my blood drawn to get my thyroid levels checked and my cholesterol checked. My eyes are still itching and I don't know what's causing it. It's not as bad as it was but driving me crazy. Anyone got any good home remedies?

My daughters allergies often cause her to have puffy, itchy eyes. We use the Claritin and it works well. A cool cloth over your eyes may provide some temporary relief. Hope it gets better soon.

I don`t know if you read what I wrote to to the one who started this.but get a jar of honey from a local bee keeper,it will make you innune to the pollins in your area.works better than any medicine, taste good to.good day from the miracleman

Your probly going to think i`m crazy but you need to get a jar of honey thats from your area, the different pollins in the air is causing your problem,so if you can find someone that has bees or gets honey localy it will build your immunity to the pollins in your area, note: it has to be natural honey, not store bought.it has to be local, not out of state.

No, I don't think your crazy. That would make sense. Now I've just gotta do some research for some local honey. Thanks so much for the advice.
