the earthquake in Hanwong, China and Most of the devestation was caused at the schools. A lot of children died and the really sad think is that 95% of those kids were only children. The law there is low income people can only have one child or pay a fine and most of these parents are to old to have any more children. I was crying it was to sad. The pic in the paper shows a couple carrying thier deceased 15 year old son down the street. What do you guys think of this?

Think about what the law or the devastation?
The devastation is awful its horrific what else can anyone else say.
The law well I can see why they do it, hey if they had that here in the UK it might stop people popping out kids when they cant afford it and expecting social to fund them.

I think the one-child law is abslutely sad!!! Here's hoping that an experience like this will make them stop and think that an entire family's future can be wiped out in a situation like this.

Well actually its right in many ways. China and India both r thickly popluted countries.
India is struggling to cope up with its population becoz we dont have such rules implemented. In the next few years i dont know where r we going to reach population wise.
China was facing similar problems and thus they implemented such strict rules and they r being benefitted now.
Cheers,
Tutul
